INFORMATION TO STALLION OWNERS

FEE FOR ICS LTD WEBSITE PROMOTION (LISTING)

The annual fee for promotion (listing) an ICS Ltd Elite stallion on the ICS Ltd website stallion directory is €30.00.
As a bonus and incentive to owners registering their stallions with the ICS Ltd, the annual ICS Ltd website promotion fee will be waived (not charged) for promotion on the ICS Ltd website stallion directory for the first year (only) that the stallions were registered with the ICS Ltd.

PROMOTING YOUR STALLION ON THE ICS LTD WEBSITE

THE PHOTOGRAPH  It is in both your interest and the interest of the ICS Ltd that you supply the ICS Ltd with the best possible photogragh you can get to represent your stallion.  It is the intention of the ICS Ltd to improve as far as possible, the standard of photographs which will be accepted each year as suitable for publication on the ICS Ltd website.  It follows therefore, that with the raising of the standard of photographs each year, photographs which are accepted one year may not continue to be deemed suitable for publication by the ICS Ltd in follwing years and fresh photographs may be necessary.   In taking photographs, owners should ensure that the stallion is clean, in good body condition, groomed and is standing side on, so as to show the outline of the stallion clearly.  The stallion should be standing proud with a stallion bearing.  Moving photographs are not acceptable.

STANDARD OF ELITE STALLIONS PROMOTED ON THE ICS LTD WEBSITE

The creteria threshold for granting Elite ICS Ltd breeding status to Supplementary stallions is a bit lower than is the criteria for granting Elite ICS Ltd breeding status to Main Section stallions.  The reason for the criteria threshold differential is because the Supplementary Section is regarded as “an ongoing base foundation for the stud book” and the Main Section is regarded as “the stud book target”.  Elite stallions on the ICS Ltd website Directory which do not have named pedigree are Supplementary Elite stallion class.

HAVING YOUR STALLION INSPECTED FOR ELITE CLASSIFICATION

If it is not possible for a stallion owner to bring their stallion to an ICS Ltd public inspection, owners have the option to make an appointment with the ICS Ltd, to bring their stallion to the ICS Ltd inspection centre at the ICS Ltd headquarters in North County Dublin (see address at header above) where two ICS Ltd inspectors will be present to inspect the stallions and to photograph the stallions for promotion on the ICS Ltd Website Stallion Directory.
